Setting up a Care Team
After receiving a diagnosis, parents can often feel lost and overwhelmed with the next steps. Understanding the diagnosis, finding the right professionals to hire and filling out all the paperwork can be a challenging and stressful process. At Social Kiddos, we’re here to guide parents through that process as seamlessly as possible while staying transparent about everything we do. Our first step is setting up a care team that meets the child and family’s unique needs so that the right care plan can be established. The process looks like this:
Setting up the autism funding
Figuring out what services the child needs
Putting together a team of professionals based on the child’s and family’s needs
Managing the funding and giving parents updates on the funding
Offering “home team” services - this includes professionals that work with the children as well as an “in home admin team” who manages the funding, paperwork and scheduling.
